I've lost my camera. It's seriously impacted my life. We've had so many times/experiences that I've wanted to preserve and haven't been able to. It's really made me appreciate having pictures to look back through.
Many of my family members haven't been able to come visit us here, and have wanted to see pics of our little place, so here are a few...
Here is the front entryway/living room. I love the floors in here. It's cozy to sit by the front window and look out at the huge pines and read. One of my favorite places to be in the house.

It's difficult to get a shot of the whole room, but here's the "T.V. Room". It's great for when family comes to visit-we can all fit in one room to hang out...

My beloved kitchen. I know this may not seem so fantastic to some, but my previous kitchen was a hallway. Seriously. This kitchen is AMAZING compared to my previous one, and I love my appliances too. It's a heaven send.

This room has a funky shape to it- it's really like an extra-wide hallway, but our table fits well there and I love the shape is lends to the house. Have I mentioned I LOVE the layout of this house?!!
Clinty's room. It's re-arranged different now, but just the right size for him. There are built in book shelves, but they aren't wide enough for actual books?? So we use them for shoes and special trucks. Improvise.
Cara's room. It's bright and cheery in her room, with the same awesome wood floors. There are at least 2 windows in each room and the light filters in really pretty through the daytime.

We took - yet another walk- one day after it had snowed in the higher elevations. It was fun to start up in the snow and then work our way into the green again...
Once we got back down where it was a bit warmer, we got the kids and our new doggie- Ralphie - out to walk around in some of the new growth sections of the forest. The contrast between tree size and snow/green was cool to see.

New growth into older trees, normally my favorite is old growth forest, trees dripping in moss, ect... but this was fun because we could see the dramatic stages of tree life. (I sound all scientific)- but it was a cool change for a day.
-OK- Here's a more few pics from another one of our walks. This is Foster Lake. It's literally about 7 minutes from our house. It's beautiful. I feel so blessed to be able to drive down the road and see this kind of beauty everyday.
The lake looked shimmery silver that day. It was a gorgeous Fall day.

We've been here about 9 months and I still can't get over the beauty. It's impossible to NOT love it. There are definitely times when we miss family, but it helps to get out and experience new things. I probably sound like a broken record, but it's refreshing to be able to do something new and exciting and I'm so thankful that we've been able to adjust as easily as we have. It's been a huge blessing.
